Chris and his wife Elizabeth served as missionary church planters in Mexico for 19 years. Chewelah Baptist Church was an early supporter of their ministry and eagerly welcomes them to be a part of our community. Chris was born in Waynesboro, PA and his family moved near Gettysburg when he was six. Chris received Christ as his Savior at age five after his Dad showed him from the Bible that we are all sinners and Jesus paid the price for everyone’s sin by dying on the cross.
Chris attended Cumberland Valley Christian school in Chambersburg, PA for both middle and high school. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1999 as a Bible major with an emphasis in missions. Chris received his masters from Pensacola Christian College in Educational Administration in 2001. Chris served as intern pastor at Liberty Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV for one year. Chris and Elizabeth met while he was interning and they were married on June 15, 2002. He was also ordained as a pastor through Liberty Baptist Church in 2002. While in Mexico, Chris served as pastor for two different churches.
Chris and Elizabeth have four children. Joshua and Ashley are students at Pensacola Christian College. David and Annalise will miss their friends in Mexico, but they are excited about the move. The whole family is looking forward to living in Chewelah, getting to know Eastern Washington, and serving the community at Chewelah Baptist Church.
